A joint venture between NEAT and DTZ Investors, The Hyde Hendon is a 3.6-acre site which will comprise 386 new homes across a range of buildings finished to a high quality and 15,000 sq. ft. of retail, leisure and commercial space.
Located on Edgware Road opposite the Hyde School, it will also feature amenities including a gym, crèche, modern landscaped gardens, and secured covered car & bicycle parking. In addition, the ‘Hendon Hub’ will attract entrepreneurs and small to medium sized enterprises.
Members of the planning committee granted consent in February 2015. The Hyde, Hendon has since been sold to L&Q for £32.5m.
Currently occupied by a Homebase retail store and a used car sales lot, The Hyde, Hendon development will be an exceptional addition to the current regeneration of The Edgware Road, recently identified by Brent council as one of four ‘Corridors of Change’.
